This class is ideal for dancers who have completed a beginner course or are comfortable with the fundamentals of tango and are ready to take the next step. The improvers level focuses on consolidating your technique, improving musicality, and building confidence in the embrace and partner connection.

We revisit and refine core elements like walking, ochos, and simple turns—while introducing new variations, transitions, and combinations to help expand your movement vocabulary. There is a strong emphasis on timing, clarity in leading and following, and developing fluidity between movements.

Each class includes guided practice, technique drills, and short sequences designed to reinforce foundational skills while gently challenging you to move forward in your tango journey. You’ll also gain more experience with improvisation and navigating social dance spaces.
