Description:

Explore the principles behind barridas (foot sweeps) and discover how they can become a natural part of the dialogue between leader and follower.

Rather than treating the barrida as an isolated step, Natasha and Juani will explore the technique, connection and positioning that allow foot sweeps to arise organically within the dance. You’ll look at different ways of creating and responding to barridas while maintaining balance, clarity and flow.

A practical workshop for improvers who want to expand their tango vocabulary while developing a better understanding of how movements are created through the connection of the couple.
