Welcome to Reading Tango Club, a hub for Argentine Tango in Reading. We organize weekly tango classes with expert Argentinian teachers and (in non-Covid times) we run milongas (social dances) and occasional live music nights. as well as Reading Tango Festival.
The club is run on a not-for-profit basis so that any money we make can be invested in bringing great teachers, musicians and performers to Reading. Our tango classes are structured so that you learn fast and are always friendly and welcoming.

From Beginners to AdvancedWhether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced dancer who wants to improve, add flair to your dancing, or to gain a deeper understanding of musicality and improvisation, we have classes for all levels and aspects of tango.

Vibrant, welcoming milongasAre milongas are known for fantastic music and friendly dancers. We hold two milongas each month (in non Covid times) - a Saturday evening Milonga Cambalache in the centre of Reading, and a matinee milonga at Moulsford Pavilion on a Sunday afternoon each month. Reading Tango FestivalWe created the first Reading Tango Festival in 2012 and over the years it has grown into a major annual event attracting dancers from across the UK and further afield. In 2020, Covid 19 caused a hiatus but we plan to be back with the festival in October 2021. More details on the Reading Tango Festival site.
